This morning… sitting on porch, working on musical score/painting, mixing yellow and white to paint on brown paper bag… looked up at feeder…

A majestic Rose breasted Grosbeak ! I switched gears, picked up a pencil as he hid halfway behind the feeder. He likes the good finch seeds I got yesterday !

Putting last touches on a CD/recording called ” May Wild” recorded last year at Wild Sound, by Steve Kaul. It features solo piano, duets with flutist Jun Miyake, and our quartet ‘Musical Ecology’ with Aaron Kerr ( cello, arranger,) and Eric Coursen ( percussion) I am quite pleased with it! It will be self-released, and available sometime in June. June with Jun !
